Occupational Therapist (OT)
Mariam Hanna studied Occupational Therapy at Western Sydney University in NSW and has completed the ALERT Lymphoedema Accreditation Training programme for Upper Limb and Breast and Lower Limb and Genital Region Training at Macquarie University's Faculty of Medicine, Health, and Human Sciences.
Her primary goal is to enable people to participate in the activities of everyday life, which include day-to-day tasks such as self-care, productivity, and leisure.
She is also a proud NDIS provider, and she uses client-centered and family-centred approaches to promote health and well-being through occupation. She also offers work compensation assessments and a workplace plan.
As a community occupational therapist, she works with people and the community to enhance their abilities to engage in the occupations they need to, want to, or are expected to do, either by modifying the environment or the occupation to support their occupational performance and engagement.
