Elyse is an APA Titled Sports and Exercise Physiotherapist and the Principal Physiotherapist at Leichhardt Medical and Dental Centre. She completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2013 at the University of Sydney, followed by a Master of Sports Physiotherapy at La Trobe University to further develop her expertise in injury assessment, management, and rehabilitation.

Elyse has extensive experience managing musculoskeletal injuries and delivering rehabilitation programs across a range of settings, including multidisciplinary clinics, high-performance sport, orthopaedics, and aged care. She has travelled both within Australia and internationally with multiple sporting teams, including Brisbane Heat, Mumbai Indians, Cricket Australia, Queensland Cricket, Cricket NSW, Netball NSW, Marconi Stallions FC, and North Shore Mariners FC.

Elyse believes rehabilitation should be individualised and patient-centred, with a strong focus on education, manual therapy, and exercise-based rehabilitation. Following a thorough physical assessment, she works collaboratively with patients to reduce pain, restore movement, and improve function.

With over ten years’ experience in private practice, Elyse is passionate about ongoing professional development and regularly attends courses and conferences to ensure her clinical practice reflects current evidence-based research. She has a strong interest in sport and supporting patients of all activity levels to return to meaningful movement.
