Dr Rebecca Black graduated from the University of Sydney in 1995 and completed her PhD in 2025. She is an experienced Speech Pathologist with over 25 years of clinical experience, working with adults experiencing communication and swallowing difficulties across both public and private sectors, in Australia and internationally.

Rebecca is passionate about building strong, collaborative relationships with her clients and is committed to providing the highest standard of evidence-based care. Throughout her career, she has worked closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic, patient-centred treatment and support.

In addition to her clinical practice, Rebecca lectures and supervises Speech Pathology students and is actively involved in large-scale clinical research. She is the author of numerous research publications and regularly presents at national and international conferences.

Rebecca’s expertise spans a wide range of clinical areas, including swallowing and communication disorder management related to neurology, aged care, and chronic disease.

Outside of her professional work, Rebecca enjoys travelling, exploring new cuisines, and spending quality time with her family.
