A self-proclaimed citizen of the world, Dr Hassan found his passion for skin cancer medicine and surgery after well-travelled medical learning.

Spanning across continents and institutions, Dr Hassan’s studies have included the Harvard Medical School’s Safety, Quality, Informatics and Leadership (SQIL) program, a Masters in Surgical Sciences from the University of Edinburgh, a Fellowship in General Practice from Royal Australasian College of General Practitioners and a Masters in Aesthetics Medicine and Surgery from Manchester University, Queen Mary University of London, and University College London.

Although his journey into skin cancer management was not a direct one, Dr Hassan says that it was his diverse experiences combined with the privilege of learning from the best mentors and institutions of skin cancer management around the world that led him to where he is today. Bringing a holistic approach to his practice, Dr Hassan strives to make a difference with every patient he meets and every skin cancer he removes.

Outside of his commitment to skin cancer management, Dr Hassan is very active with the Aus-Pak Foundation, strengthening ties and fostering cooperation between countries. This involvement led to the honour of receiving the Presidential Medal of Excellence in 2023, from the President of Pakistan.
